You Are Not Enough for the Dog

You may find it difficult to trust, but you are not sufficient for the dog or puppy. Being social creatures, and also to be joyful, well-mannered and well-adjusted, they should interact not just with people, but with different dogs on a regular basis. Well-adjusted, joyful dogs desire and want additional dogs.

Trade Places

We would like to think that we may fill all our pet's needs and desires; but we simply cannot, any more than they can safety all ours. To see things in the pet's perspective, imagine trading areas.

Each morning shortly after the alarm sounds, your puppy gets up, opens your cage, and lets you outside the door. Then it is time to enter, they nourish you, and possibly if you are lucky, they take you to get a fast walk around the block.

Then they shower, dress and head out the door. If they trust you enough not to crate you, you're exceptional. If luck isn't on your side, it's crate time again.
