Before you throw SM Marketing on the garbage heap please consider these variables. A number of you can get validation that it is in factn't for your small business but some of you might rethink & give it a second chance, this time doing things a little differently.

Let us look at some potential factors as to why to Social Media Marketing did not work…

1. All companies are different and you will find a lot of different variables when trying to connect with your target market using SM advertising.

Social networking works best for businesses that serve all of the countries or even internationally. For those regional businesses out there, it'll be a bit trickier.

2. Some businesses are merely a greater natural fit than others in regards to Social media marketing. Social networking is all about participation. For some businesses that are simple & for others there might be a bit more imagination required.

3. You were attempting to do it yourself but you're doing it wrong. A whole lot of people mistakenly think that their dabbling and fooling around a bit with social media themselves counts as a well thought out & implemented Social Media Marketing Campaign.

4. You did not give it enough time. Social Networking takes time. Relationships take time.

Expecting to do the social networking thing for two weeks & then giving up clearly is not going to work.
